Thanks for visiting and supporting Heart to Heart CPR!
Heart to Heart CPR is a dedicated professional team that has an innovative approach to teaching CPR. We create an interactive environment that allows individuals to gain hands on experience. Not only will you learn the techniques of using CPR but also that of an AED; a medical device which when used in conjunction with CPR can be vital in a cardiac arrest victim's chance of survival.
At Heart to Heart CPR we ensure that learning is FUN and EASY even in
the comfort of your home, or business.
We use top of the line manikins that speed up and enhance the learning process.
Our staff consists of healthcare employees, all of whom are
American Heart Association as well as American Safety and Health Institute Certified Instructors.
Whatever the certification, whenever you need it, wherever you are!
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
What is CPR?
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a combination of rescue breathing and chest compressions delivered to victims thought to be in cardiac arrest. When cardiac arrest occurs, the heart stops pumping blood. CPR can support a small amount of blood flow to the heart and brain to “buy time” until normal heart function is restored.
Cardiacarrest is often caused by an abnormal heart rhythm called ventricular fibrillation (VF). When VF develops, the heart quivers and doesn't pump blood. The victim in VF cardiac arrest needs CPR and delivery of a shock to the heart, called defibrillation. Defibrillation eliminates the abnormal VF heart rhythm and allows the normal rhythm to resume. Defibrillation is not effective for all forms of cardiac arrest but it is effective to treat VF, the most common cause of sudden cardiacarrest.
TheAmerican Heart Association adopted new CPR science guidelines in October 2010. These guidelines are the basis for teaching CPR. For more information, see the following link:

Heart to Heart CPR goes RED !
We support the American Heart Association
Go Red for Women campaign to Fight Heart Disease among Women.
Go Red For Women celebrates the energy, passion and power we have as women to band together to wipe out heart disease and stroke. In 2004, the American Heart Association (AHA) faced a challenge. Cardiovascular disease claimed the lives of nearly 500,000 American women each year, yet women were not paying attention. In fact, many even dismissed it as an “older man’s disease.” To dispel the myths and raise awareness of heart disease as the number one killer of women, the American Heart Association created Go Red For Women – a passionate, emotional, social initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health.
How do you help? Sign up to Go Red for Women Campaign and learn ways to become heart healthy through lifestyle changes.
After signing up for the Go Red Campaign, create awareness by informing at least 5 women you know and love about the Go Red Campaign through the Tell Five initiative. If each women tells 5 of her friends and loved ones about the challenges of heart disease our knowledge base becomes a strong army in the fight to end this epidemic.
